ANATHEMA: Live Performance To Air On France's RADIO METAL

January 9, 2009

This weekend, Radio Metal will broadcast the complete, unedited and more-than-two-hours-long ANATHEMA concert held on November 1, 2008 at the CCO in Villeurbanne, France.

To listen to the program via the Internet, visit Radio Metal this Sunday, January 11 at 20.00h (GMT+1) or Monday at 4.00h (GMT+1).

ANATHEMA released its new album, "Hindsight", on August 25. 2008 via Kscope. The CD features old and new favorites from the band's career, with new arrangements utilizing acoustic, electrical and orchestral instruments to construct the deep, emotional landscapes ANATHEMA has become renowned for. This album also features the beautiful cello playing of Dave Wesling from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. A close friend of the band, Dave previously toured with the band in 2004 and is featured on the DVD "A Moment in Time". The record has been arranged, recorded, performed and produced solely by the band.

Hungarian metal magazine "Kettõnégy" recently conducted an interview with ANATHEMA's Danny Cavanagh in Budapest, Hungary. Watch the chat below. (Note: The clip also features performance footage.)
